According to preliminary data, the ruling Georgian Dream party is the leader, with 51.5 percent of the votes, in the proportional elections that were conducted in 71 cities and communities in Georgia. 

As for the election results in Javakhk—Georgian name: Javakheti, which is a predominantly-Armenian-populated part of Georgia’s southeastern Samtskhe-Javakheti Province—, the “Armenian community of Georgia” informed that the majority of the ballots cast here have been counted, and the confirmed results are as follows:

Akhalkalaki Municipality department head: Eduard Aghasyan (Georgian Dream) with 60.55 percent; Ninotsminda (Bogdanovka): Gagik Gharslyan (Georgian Dream) with 80.57 percent; Akhaltsikhe: Zaza Melikidze (Georgian Dream) with 59.7 percent; Adigeni: Zakaria Endeladze (Georgian Dream) with 64.83 percent; Aspindza: Levan Tsabadze (Georgian Dream) with 49.27 percent; and Borjomi: Dmitry Kipiani (Georgian Dream) with 58.65 percent.
