YEREVAN. – One of the main objectives of the activities by the Armenian MPs is to improve the system for the activities of the small and medium-sized business in Russia. 

Armenia National Assembly (NA) Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan, who is also co-chair of the Armenian-Russian Interparliamentary Commission, stated the aforementioned at an NA press conference on Monday.    

In her words, in the case when the cultural and humanitarian matters had dominated the agenda in the previous years, in the past two years, however, the economy has become one of the main issues.  

“From this point of view, Armenia’s Eurasian integration is a subject of our serious discussions. We understand that it [the Eurasian integration] opens for Armenia a 270-million [population] market of the Eurasian Union, and we want for the terms for joining this union to be mutually acceptable,” Naghdalyan stressed.
