YEREVAN. – Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan convened a consultation devoted to the use of natural resources and the fulfillment of environmental requirements in the country.

The Economy, Energy and Natural Resources, and Nature Protection ministers presented the current mechanisms for carrying out environmental functions, and the possible steps toward the clarification of these functions, informed the Press Office of the Government.    

In turn, Abrahamyan underscored the implementation of legislative changes toward the separation and simplification of these functions.  

In addition, the PM instructed the representatives of the relevant departments to continue the discussions and submit specific proposals.
