YEREVAN. – Twenty five of the 65 Iraqi-Armenian families, who had left Mosul as a result of the recent terrorists’ attack, have returned to the city, the Diaspora Ministry of Armenia press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.    

According to the Ministry representative, none of the Mosul Armenians was transported to Armenia. But if they express such a wish, Armenia will provide them the same assistance as was provided to numerous Syrian Armenians who have come to Armenia.   

As a result of the terrorist militants’ attack on Mosul on June 10, sixty-five Armenian families and the Armenian Apostolic Church clergyman were forced to leave the city. Fortunately, the attack has not caused any casualties among the Armenian community in Mosul.
