Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku on Wednesday.
The ministers discussed ways to deepen the cooperation, as well as the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Mammadyarov said during a press conference following the talks, APA reported.
“Russia is a co-chair country of the OSCE Minsk Group. The status quo is unacceptable and we discussed ways to move the issue off deadlock,” he said.
Azerbaijani Minister said that they had discussed developments in the Middle East and Ukraine.
