YEREVAN. – The common financial area between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh will be preserved, chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia told reporters.

Arthur Javadyan said Armenia would not bring about any changes with Eurasian integration.

“As to financial issues, there can be no changes. I am confident that cooperation will remain the same as it used to be: common currency, Armenian dram, and common financial area. Nowadays and in the future any bank, an Armenian or a foreign one, can open branches in Nagorno-Karabakh,” Javadyan added.
