The matter of the reinstallation of the Abkhazian railway was not reflected on during the meeting of the representatives of the Governments of Armenia and Georgia.
Georgia Vice Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, who is also Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, and Georgia FM Maia Panjikidze have stated the abovementioned responding to the reporters’ respective question.
In Kvirikashvili’s words, this is a quite complicated issue, from both the technical and the political viewpoint, and it was not discussed during the talk.
Panjikidze also made a similar statement noting that nothing was said about the Abkhazian railway during the 1.5 hour meeting, reported the InterpressNews news agency of Georgia.
