Germany, the US, and the Netherlands consider removing this year the Patriot air defense missile systems that are deployed in Turkey.

This matter is planned to be discussed at the next NATO summit to be held in September, Der Spiegel reported.

The removal of the missiles from Turkey is rationalized by the fact that, due to the redeployment of chemical weapons, the Patriots are no longer needed in Turkey

But the real reason is the lack of Patriot system service professionals in the German and Dutch military personnel, Spiegel Online reported.
