YEREVAN. – French Ambassador Henri Reynaud admits Armenia's goals within Eastern Partnership project were undoubtedly implemented in parallel with Yerevan's willingness to cooperate with Moscow.

He is convinced that these approach was repeatedly confirmed during the tenure of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and at the level of  incumbent head of the Cabinet.

“There was “and.... and” approach, not the “or....or” option. France's position was clearly expressed during the visit of Francois Hollande to Armenia when the latter said there should be a differentiated option of cooperation with EU for Armenia. The President urged to find formula that will enable Armenia to develop associated cooperation with EU, since Armenia with its culture, values and history is a very European state,” he said.
