YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan met with the Prime Minister of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Ara Harutyunyan during his visit to Karabakh.

The head of governments  discussed the prospects for multilateral cooperation and future programs between Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh. The talks continued with an extended meeting of delegations.

“This is my first visit to Nagorno-Karabakh as a prime minister. I am confident that our relationship with the Prime Minister and the government of Nagorno-Karabakh will be very warm and efficient. My approach is as follows: the discussion should be substantive, targeted, and we will be consistent in  implementation of the decisions in a timely manner. For us, it is important to develop the economy and security of our second homeland, and as a Prime Minister of Armenia, I will do my best for this purpose,” Abrahamyan said.

“There is no problem that we can not solve within our shared vision of the future,” he added.

The prime ministers expressed satisfaction with the development of multilateral relations between Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh.

Responsible ministers delivered reports on the implementation of joint programs and the agreements reached in the framework of the signed memorandum of cooperation in the areas of justice, energy, agriculture, financial sector, as well as in emergency situations. It was noted that cooperation includes a wide range of issues, and planned programs are implemented successfully.
