YEREVAN. – Orinats Yerkir party will petition to the Administrative Court demanding review of gas and electricity prices.

“We will petition to court at 2pm. MP Hovhannes Margaryan will represent the party at court, and we will be joined by civil activists, as well as over 15 NGOs,” Arthur Minasyan, secretary of the party, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

As of August 1, the Public Services Regulatory Commission expects to increase the electricity price in Armenia by 10 percent thus becoming 42 drams (approx. US 10 cents), per cubic meter, for most residents.
