YEREVAN. – The shootings along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border are linked more to the events unrolling in the Greater Middle East. 

Former Karabakh Committee member, Armenian public and political activist Ashot Manucharyan stated the aforementioned at a press conference on Tuesday.

In his words, the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan cannot make independent decisions.

Manucharyan added that he considers the chances of resumption of military operations between the Armenian and the Azerbaijani sides to be very small.

“Three basic processes are taking place, which reflect on our border situation and shots are fired as a result: 1) Fight for Europe, 2) Spread of chaos in the Middle East and broader area, [and] 3) Russia’s fate,” Manucharyan noted.
In his view, the present-day ruling world order faces problems.

“This world order need chaos in the world” he stressed.
