The Russian Federation (RF) government will transition to a five-year socioeconomic development planning reporting, Izvestia daily of Russia wrote citing a senior government source.

The first plan, and with respect to the achievement of some economic indicators, will be submitted to RF President Vladimir Putin this month.

Once in every six months, the RF Cabinet will discuss the course of implementation of this planning.
The official also noted that Putin on Tuesday signed the Law on Strategic Planning, whose concept specifies the foundations for strategic planning in Russia.
