YEREVAN. - The American national currency’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 407.90/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday, and this makes for an AMD 0.05 rise from Tuesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 557.19 (down by AMD 1.32), that of one Russian ruble was AMD 11.91 (up by AMD 0.01), and the rate of one British pound was AMD 699.96 (up by AMD 0.86), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of gold, silver, and platinum amounted to AMD 17,409.22, AMD 276.45, and AMD 19,632.09, respectively.

Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 4,100,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 408.31/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 408/$1.
