YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia received a call on Wednesday at 5:52pm.
Accordingly, a landfall had occurred under the Davtashen Bridge in capital city Yerevan and, as a result, the traffic on the road under the bridge had become one-way.
An MES Crisis Management Center operative team was dispatched to the scene, the MES Rescue Service informed.
It was found out that rainfall-caused-water-carried stones had rendered the traffic on the 10-km road one-way.
The Davtashen District officials will take measures to clear the road.
