Selahattin Demirtas, whom Turkey’s Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) has nominated as presidential candidate in the country’s forthcoming presidential election, presented the list of his properties to the Supreme Electoral Council, reported Milliyet daily of Turkey.
Demirtas, who is Chairman of Turkey’s pro-Kurdish “Peace and Democracy Party” (BDP), has repeatedly condemned the Armenian Genocide that was committed in Ottoman Turkey and insisted that Turkey should recognize the genocide.
