The adversary opened fire, from Wednesday night to early Thursday morning, in the direction of Chinari village of Armenia’s Tavush Region, and it kept the whole village under fire for four hours.  

Chinari prefect Samvel Saghoyan told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“There was shooting until 1:30 at night. There is slight damage: roof[s], window[s], refrigerator[s]. [But] the people have gotten used [to it]; they protect [themselves]. We turn off the lights, [and] hide somewhere in the night hours,” he said.     

In the prefect’s words, the shooting has not resulted in any injuries, or considerable material damage.  

“They open fire every day; it’s just that this time the shots were fired for [a] longer [duration of time],” Saghoyan added.
