Airbus Company has designed the airplane of the future, which resembles a flying saucer, reported TASS news agency of Russia.   

“If the European company’s patent is approved, the future passengers will fly in [airplane] cabins that resemble a huge fritter, or a flying saucer,” the agency also reported.  

As per the source, this UFO-like design contributes to the solving of a problem which the aircraft constructors come across. According to the designers, this new design may enable the airplanes to save more fuel.       

The company informed that it has decided to register the patent for this promising idea, but this does not mean that it plans to immediately start the construction of these UFO-like aircrafts.
