YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s interstate and national roads are open for traffic as of Monday at 10am, reported the Ministry of Transport and Communication.
But there is black ice on the motorways in Sisian and Goris cities, and the Martuni city section of the Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass.
In addition, the roads in the Aragats area and the Martuni city section of the Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass are difficult to drive due to heavy snowfall, severe blizzard, and low visibility.
It is snowing in virtually all parts of the country.
The road crews that are scattering salt and sand on the motorways to ensure safe travel.
