Syrian newlyweds Nada Merhi and Hassan Youssef chose the ruins of Homs – Syria’s most destructed city - as a background for their wedding photos, The Washington Post reports.
On February 5, Joseph Eid, a photographer with Agence France-Press,e took the photos of Nada Merhi, 18, and Hassan Youssef, 27. The idea belonged to Meray who wanted to show by that shot that “life is stronger than death.”
