The Mobile operator Yota launches a service that will allow to use messages in roaming free of charge, announced the press service of the company, reports the Gazeta.

Thanks to that innovation Yota customers will be able to  text in such Messengers as  WhatsApp , Viber , Telegram , Facebook Messеnger, and iMessage, regardless the availability of funds on their accounts.

The company says that to transfer media files is possible only in case of activation of the internet traffic package. In case of zero balance , financial restrictions, turned off package of data transfer, the user can only receive and send text messages.

According to Yota, the most popular messenger among customers is WhatsApp. It attracts  45 percent of customers. 28 % of customers choose Viber. Roaming service is available in 229 countries.
