Instagram launched a new function: owners of smartphones can zoom in images and videos using a simple pinch gesture on the basis of iOS. Zoom will be available on Android in the coming weeks, Instagram official website reported.

The image or video remain increased while the user touches the screen by fingers. Due to the fact that Instagram has a limit on the quality of the loaded material, some images may be not so clear after the zoom function.

At the beginning of August photoservice announced the launch of the function allowing users to close comments under the posts. The new option is designed to help users to fight against trolling.
