YEREVAN. - 160-180,000 people availed themselves of Sevan Lake beaches during the 2016 swimsuit season, the press-service of the Ecology Ministry of Armenia reports.

Currently, 11 public beaches operate in “Sevan” National Park SNO. Three of them are designed for long-term rest, the other 8 serving for short-term rest.

The research carried out in 2014 and 2015 showed that the beaches work with great load. In this connection, it was decided to increase the number of beaches by one.
