Apple Inc. is weighing an expansion into digital glasses, Bloomberg reported quoting people familiar with the matter.

According to them, the device is still in an exploration phase. It was said that glasses would connect wirelessly to iPhones, show images and other information in the wearer’s field of vision, and may use augmented reality.

If Apple management approves the invention starts its mass production, it would be introduced in 2018 at the earliest.
