YEREVAN. – Numerous residents of Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan know Argentinean-Armenian teacher and singer Ezekiel Giragosian, 27, as the wandering juggler who earns money by collecting money from cars on the streets.
This young man, who has chosen traveling as his way of life, came to Armenia one year ago; and next month, he is going to travel to Asia.
Ezekiel earns money in Yerevan also by playing drums or guitar and by singing, with his brother.
He had learned juggling in South America.
Ezekiel had taught in schools and kindergartens in Argentina, and he did the same work voluntarily in Yerevan and Gyumri. Now, he does volunteer work in Hatsik village, as he teaches art and English to the village children.
His father’s family had moved from Armenia to Argentina 90 years ago, and his mother is Italian.
Ezekiel said what he most likes in Armenia is its people, who always want to speak, want to know why he came to Armenia; especially the children, who are “very smart, warm, and kind.”
