On February 1, for the first time in Norway there was held a wedding ceremony of a same-sex couple. The ceremony took place at midnight, when the special procedure established by the Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church came into effect.
The pastor Bettina Eckbo, who hosted the ceremony, confessed, that " it was a great fun and really cosy to be a part of." The same-sex couple have been living together for 36 years.
