YEREVAN. – Passenger flow at Armenia’s two international airports totaled 875,011 people, from January to May of the current year, and this is 30.5 percent more than the same period last year. 

Passenger traffic increased by 34.5 percent at Zvarnots airport in capital city Yerevan, and by 319.5 percent—at Shirak airport of Gyumri, the General Department of Civil Aviation informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, cargo transportation at Zvartnots was  81.5 percent more in the first five months of 2017, as compared with the same months of the year past.

In addition, flights to and from these two airports increased by 23.7 percent in January-May of the current year, as compared with the same period last year.
