Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan has no reason to resign.

The President of Armenia, and ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Chairman Serzh Sargsyan, on Tuesday told the abovementioned to reporters, during his visit to Tavush Province.

“And the regularly disseminated news, allegedly, about existing disagreements, conflicts, are made-up,” he added. “It’s a healthy work environment in our country, and particularly in our party.”

Earlier, media reported that PM Karapetyan had twice submitted his resignation to Sargsyan, but his request was turned down.

Also, it was noted that the RPA has already decided that after April 2018—when Serzh Sargsyan’s presidential term of office will end, he will assume the post of Prime Minister.
