YEREVAN. – President Armen Sarkissian on Sunday visited the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia, and where he got familiarized with the activities of its divisions that are on duty on holidays.

Armenian News-NEWS.am learned the aforesaid from the news service of the presidential staff.

First, the President toured the MES National Center for Crisis Management and, also, congratulated its staff on the coming New Year and wished them good service.

Subsequently, Sarkissian visited the Psychological Service of the MES National Center for Crisis Management.

Also, a group of staff members from the Psychological Service and the National Center for Crisis Management were awarded with the President’s nominal watches, in recognition of their conscientious service.

In addition, six wheelchairs were donated, on behalf of the President, to the MES employees with physical disabilities.

Armen Sarkissian noted that the job of the MES employees who work on holidays is remembered and appreciated.
