The air defense of Syria has repelled an Israeli airstrike on Aleppo, the Syrian state television reported.
The airstrikes were launched Wednesday at around 11pm local time.
“A civilian airport [in Aleppo], Jibrin and Sheikh Najjar [industrial area] have been attacked,” the spokesperson of Aleppo militia told Sputnik. “We are clarifying information on damage and casualties.”
The airstrikes caused a power outage in Aleppo.
