South Sudan vice president Riek Machar and his wife contracted COIVD-19, Reuters reported referring to the politician’s office.
According to the statement, “a number of his office staff and bodyguards” have also tested positive for COVID-19.
South Sudan has recorded 194 COVID-19 cases. The first COVID-19 death was recorded on May 14.
