The number of COVID-19 cases in the world exceeded 25 million on Sunday, according to data from the American Johns Hopkins University.

The number of infected is now 25,009,250, while the death toll has reached 842,702 and 16,411,400 have recovered. Most cases of infection (5,961,582) were recorded in the United States. This is followed by Brazil (3,846,153) and India (3,542,733).
