The Czech authorities have canceled the requirement for residents of the republic to wear medical respirators on the street if the distance between those there is more than two meters, TASS reported.

Now these means of protection are required only in places of mass gathering of citizens, such as, for example, queues or stops of public transport. This decision was made by the authorities against the background of an improvement in the epidemiological situation with coronavirus in the republic.

While observing the maximum measures of sanitary and epidemiological safety, shops, travel agencies, solariums, pawnshops, shoe repair shops and other enterprises providing household services to the population resumed their work in the country.

From Monday, university students can start practical exercises, and kindergarten students in all 14 regions of the republic will not need to undergo coronavirus tests. Meanwhile, schoolchildren and university students will continue to take tests periodically.

If the epidemic situation in the Czech Republic continues to improve, then, as representatives of the authorities say, on May 17, the terrace of the restaurant and cafe will resume work in the republic.

The authorities do not intend to abolish the obligation to wear medical respirators in public places. This may happen in conditions when two-thirds of the total population of the country will be vaccinated against the coronavirus. This situation, as predicted, may develop by the end of the summer.
