Afghans living in Greece have taken to the streets of the country's capital calling for peace after the Taliban consolidated power and amid an increasingly volatile security situation in Afghanistan, The Hill reported.

The demonstration made its way to the US Embassy in Athens.

Afghans said they were tired of the violence in their country and called on the international community to ensure justice and peace in the region.
