Police in Turkmenistan have begun selling portraits of the republic's new president, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, to taxi drivers, Radio Azatlyk reports.

Thus, the police began distributing products for marking the windshields of cars so that people could see that this car is a taxi.

According to local taxi drivers, the police print out four portraits on A4 paper, after which they repeatedly photocopy them.

Law enforcement officials themselves do not separate the portraits from each other due to the lack of scissors, so the drivers have to tear off each photo themselves, the newspaper writes.
