Bulgaria cancels all anti-coronavirus entry restrictions from Sunday, tourists will not need a PCR test or a vaccination certificate, the Ministry of Health of the Republic reports.

From Sunday, May 1, all anti-epidemiological measures introduced for those arriving from other countries are cancelled. In particular, travelers will not need an EU digital vaccination certificate, a COVID-19 certificate or a PCR test.

On April 1, Bulgaria canceled all anti-epidemiological requirements within the country: masks are not needed in the premises, social distancing.

To enter Bulgaria, you will need either a Bulgarian national visa, a valid multiple entry Schengen visa, or a Croatian, Cypriot or Romanian national visa.

Meanwhile, the visa operator VFS Global reports that from March 25, for technical reasons, the visa centers of Moscow, Yekaterinburg and St. Petersburg (including regional visa centers) do not accept applications with payment of the consular fee. This also includes tourist visas.

“Those categories of applicants who are exempt from paying the consular fee can submit documents to the Visa Application Center without restrictions, the message says.
