In the new version of the operating system, Windows 11 from Microsoft have found a feature that will notify users about the requirement of applications to give access to the computer's microphone and webcam.
It is noted that so far Microsoft has started implementing the feature in test mode and not for all users. The tool called "Privacy Auditing" will show the user what applications accessed the microphone, camera and other computer equipment.
According to the portal, the tool is part of the Privacy and Security section of Windows 11 settings. The tool will also indicate exactly when and how long apps have had access to screenshots, messages, and location data.
