The price of copper falls on Monday, the strengthening of the dollar after the speech of the chairman of the Federal Reserve System (FRS) of the United States holds back the cost of industrial metal, according to trading data.
December futures for copper on the Comex exchange fell 2.52% to $3.604 per pound (about 0.45 kilograms).
At the London Metal Exchange (LME), following the results of previous trading, the cost of a ton of copper with delivery in three months increased by 0.39%, to $8,160.5, aluminum - by 2.47%, to $2,493.5, zinc - by 0.49% to $3,565.5.
