Indian teens tied their math teacher to a tree and beat him, NDTV writes. The reason for the incident was bad grades given by the teacher during an exam.

The beating involved 11 students from the 9th grade who received a bad grade on the math exam. The police noted that neither the teacher nor the school administration had filed a complaint about the incident.

The affected teacher was the school principal, but was removed from his position for an unknown reason. Students have been suspended and students have been sent home for the duration of the proceedings, the police statement said.
