An American designer has launched the first brand of sneakers for horses, the NY Post reported.

The Shoe Surgeon Academy graduate, designer Marcus Floyd, has announced the launch of his own brand Horse Kicks, which will specialize in creating sneakers for horses.

For the debut collection, Floyd reimagined popular sneaker models like the Air Jordan 1, New Balance 650 and Yeezy BOOST 350 V2. The recognizable details of these models have been retained, but the shape of the shoe has been tweaked to match the horse's hooves.

The new horseshoes will take their first test drive during the Breeders' Cup thoroughbred horse races in Kentucky on November 4 and 5.

The brand will reportedly be accepting custom orders from horse owners. However, the cost of "sneaker horseshoes" will be much more expensive than usual: to shoe one horse's foot, you will have to spend about $1200.
