Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Anadolu Agency reports.

According to the Directorate of Communications at the Turkish Presidency, the sides discussed the situation surrounding the conflict between Israel and Iran, as well as a range of regional and global issues.

During the conversation, Erdogan stated that Israel, under the leadership of Benjamin Netanyahu, represents "the greatest threat to the stability and security of the region" and has once again demonstrated this by attacking Iran.

The Turkish president emphasized that to reduce tensions, Israel must be stopped.

He said, "The international community’s inaction in response to Israeli occupation and genocide in Palestine has only encouraged Tel Aviv’s aggression."

Erdogan added that the attack on Iran took place amid ongoing nuclear negotiations between Tehran and Washington, which he said is an attempt to undermine peace efforts.

He stressed that Israel’s strikes, which have led to the leakage of radioactive materials, pose an irresponsible threat not only to regional but also to global security.

According to Erdogan, resolving the nuclear dispute is only possible through continued diplomatic negotiations.
