YEREVAN. – The news, according to which Armenia’s State Revenue Committee (SRC) Chairman Gagik Khachatryan has purchased the Austrian “Mozart” Company, is untrue, SRC Deputy Chairman Armen Alaverdyan stated during a press conference on Wednesday. 

“It is possible to purchase a large company in our country, or in a country that just entered the market, but it is impossible to purchase a large company in such way in European countries. There are shares, [and] any citizen can acquire shares,” Alaverdyan noted.    

In his view, the news of acquiring “Mozart” is the result of an imagination by either journalists, or “some information sources.”
