YEREVAN. – The Armenian Justice Ministry’s Compulsory Enforcement Service of Judicial Orders collected more than 14 billion drams (approx. US$ 36,075,746) in 2011, Service Chief Mihran Poghosyan stated during a press conference on Wednesday.  

And the reason for the current growth in collection, as per Poghosyan, is the growing confidence in the Compulsory Enforcement Service, its productive activities, and the more effective cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office. In addition, in the case when the businessmen used to prefer “resolving the matters” by way of the “notables,” they now prefer the judicial system. 

But still, according to Mihran Poghosyan, the calculated bankruptcies are of concern.
