YEREVAN. – Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan received, on Thursday, Jonathan James Aves and Catherine Jane Leach, the newly appointed ambassadors of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia, who presented their credentials to the President. 

Serzh Sargsyan expressed a confidence that the new ambassadors will contribute to the development of Armenian-British relations, and the further strengthening and deepening of cooperation, the Presidential Press Office informs.  

The parties also underscored the need to make the mutual visits and contacts become more active, the consultations between the MFAs of both countries, and the development of partnership with Great Britain within the European Union format, too.   

The interlocutors also discussed regional issues.
