About 100 of people were hospitalized as a result of chemical experiments in the laboratory of the Dresden University of Technology.
The freshmen were carrying out chemical experiments when the students suddenly felt a bad smell on Thursday evening.
All were evacuated from the building as there was a doubt arsine, highly toxic gas, was spreading. About one hundred students, laboratory and rescue service employees were hospitalized, Saechsische Zeitung newspaper reports.
After the first tests the doctors revealed that students’ lives are not in danger.
