YEREVAN. – No foreign currency trading was conducted Friday at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. And the reason was the high-priced offer for the US Dollar.

One dollar was offered at AMD 388.50, but the maximum level of demand was AMD 388.

And Armenia’s cash foreign currency market reacted to the dollar’s upward aspirations. In practice, the exchange offices stopped selling one dollar at AMD 388, and the average sale exchange rate is AMD 389, whereas the maximum purchase rate is AMD 387.
