YEREVAN. – One of the key problems in the banking system is the current monetary resources’ availability in the capital markets, Eurasian Development Bank Executive Board Deputy Chairman Dmitry Zhurba stated during a press conference on Friday.

“The investors have not yet fully digested the recent widespread downgrading of the ratings of European states. The situation in the international markets is unstable, to put it mildly,” Zhurba said.

And with respect to Armenia’s economic situation, Dmitry Zhurba said the current times are tense for the economy of any country. And in his view, the electoral processes in Armenia and in Russia will not cause any shock in the financial sector.
