Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, accompanied by his wife, Anna Hakobyan, arrived in Tianjin to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, which will take place in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will take part in the SCO summit in the SCO+ format meeting and in the events to be held within its framework.

Pashinyan will also attend festive events dedicated to the end of the Second World War. On September 3, China will hold a military parade in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Second World War.

It is noted that during the visit, a number of high-level meetings are planned, including with President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, Vice President Han Zheng, and foreign partners.

Earlier, Pashinyan had announced that on September 1, he would meet withthe  President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
