YEREVAN. - One of the famous gallery owners Larry Gagosian is sued for having sold two works of art without knowledge or consent of their proprietor. The gallery owner, being at the top of the Art Review rating, will have to pay $14 million fine in case court approves the lawsuit.

The plaintiff Jan Cowles, 93, will do everything to return what belonged to her, New York Post reports. Mark Tansey’s “The Innocent Eye Test” and Roy Lichtenstein’s “Girl in Mirror” were sold at $2.5 million and $4.5 million respectively;

She claims Gagosian sold the works, though he had no right to do so. Gagosian himself has not commented on it yet. To note, he is the owner of gallery network in the U.S., Europe and South-East Asia.
