The European Commission on Wednesday proposed suspending free trade agreements on Israeli goods due to the war in Gaza, Reuters reports.
However, this measure does not currently have sufficient support among European Union member states to be adopted.
EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas also proposed a package of sanctions against two Israeli ministers, as well as aggressive settlers and members of the Palestinian group Hamas.
